Location: City of London Country: UK Rate: £200 - £245 per day
 

Product/Garment Technologist - Contract

A leading retail client of ours is on the market for a Product/Garment Technologist to join their teams on a contract basis. The right candidate will have experience particularly within Childrens clothing including an understanding of the UK safety and legal requirements.

The Requirements:

  • Supporting an industry standard process of briefing, product review and approve including fitting on mannequins, and ability to to repor and drive outcomes form Faulty and Damaged returns data as well as reading customer sentiments from online reviews system.
  • Proven track record of working well with suppliers, managing continuous improvements and addressing all issues with a sharp focus on collaboration and partnership.
  • Ensuring consistency of fit and quality across the category and size range
  • Leading cross-functional meetings with design, product development and sourcing teams
  • Experience within childrenswear is essential

The Role:

  • 10 month maternity cover contract
  • Potential for the role to be part time 3 days per week or full time
  • Hybrid working (2 days per week in office)
  • up to £245 per day (inside IR35)
